Monument to the Martyrs of the Calancha
A November 23, 2007 Sucre became the scene of violent protests against the Constituent Assembly in the La Calancha to claim the Capitalia to Sucre.
Leaving three killed two of whom were college for most home studio of Sucre and a young graduate lawyer it.
The university is José Luis Cardozo Lazcano, Gonzalo and Juan Carlos Duran Carazani Serrudo Murillo.
Monument Huascar Aparicio
Huascar Aparicio Gonzales was born on June 1, 1972 in the province of Tomina , folk style songwriter , composer of emblematic songs and inspiring for the city of Sucre. He died with his young son Gustavo one June 21, 2013 in a tragic car accident.

Born on August 9, 1925 Mr. Roman Romero came to excel in music , known by many as " Ch'ejchi Coco" of love , the master of harmonium left a mark on the heart of Sucre the death of a 16 April 2015 at the age of 89 years , will be long remembered for his wonderful musical style
